Engineers and businessmen usually get the plaudits for the birth of the Automobile industry; but without scientists, engineers and philanthropists, things could be very different.
In this hall we will tell some the stories of people who have contributed to the designs, technological advances and business practices that have allowed the Motor car to become practical, affordable and eventually to flourish. We'll also introduce you to some of the less well known names, that may have been forgotten over the years, but without whom many of the things we now take for granted might not be around at all.
